Αγνοώντας το αίτημα του Virat Kohli για προστασία της ιδιωτικής ζωής για την οικογένειά του, τα αυστραλιανά μέσα ενημέρωσης τον αποκαλούν ξεδιάντροπα «νταή».
It looks like the Australian media doesn’t give two hoots about the privacy of visiting players. Retorting strongly to Virat Kohli snapping at a journalist in Melbourne, a media house has gone on to label the Indian cricketer as a “bully”. The Indian batting maestro had reprimanded Australian media persons on his arrival in Melbourne for filming his family without his permission.
With utter disrespect to Virat Kohli request for privacy, Channel Nine news reader Tony Jones went on to claim that the cricketer was nothing but a bully. Despite not meting out similar treatment to their own cricketers, the channel went on to claim that Kohli was a “superstar” and was used to “cameras focusing on him”. The news reader cried foul over the Indian cricketer allegedly berating the five-foot two reporter, ignoring blissfully the fact that they had indeed invaded the privacy of a family.
“What really got my back up when I saw the footage, was that he turned around to the three blokes, the two cameramen and the reporter from Channel 7 and said you guys are OK, it’s her. Really? Big tough man Virat. And then he stood over this girl Nat Yoannidis who’s about five foot one, five foot two, and just absolutely berated her.
‘You’re nothing but a bully Virat,” Channel Nine’s news reader claimed without any shame.

Virat Kohli stands for his privacy vs Aussie media
The confrontation between Virat Kohli and the Australian media reportedly began when media members, initially speaking to Australian bowler Scott Boland, noticed Kohli and his family. The reporters then approached the Indian cricketer, who, visibly upset, confronted a Channel 9 reporter. Kohli, expressing his frustration, stated, “With my kids, I need some privacy; you can’t film without asking me.” He then walked away but turned back to continue voicing his concerns to particular media persons. “If I’m alone, it’s OK. Did you ask?,” said Kohli while confronting to the media.
