A few days ago, we saw RCB’s new captain, Rajat Patidar, unveil their new jersey for the IPL 2025 season. Now, they have released their classic green jersey, which they will wear for one match in IPL 2025, and only in a day game. This time, the jersey features a unique and impressive design, which has been well received by many cricket fans. It’s fair to say that a lot of supporters appreciate this edition of RCB’s jersey. The impressive jersey is now available on the official Puma website, where fans can purchase it.

Why do RCB wear green jerseys during IPL?
So, it all started in 2011 when RCB first introduced the green jersey, and it became a tradition for them to wear it in one match every season. This is part of their ‘Go Green’ initiative, aimed at spreading awareness about a cleaner and greener environment.
How RCB’s green jerseys are made
It is extremely interesting that RCB’s green jerseys are made from recycled waste collected at the stadium. On average, each match at the stadium produces around 8 tons of waste, comprising dry, food, and recyclable materials, which are repurposed as part of their sustainability efforts.
